Villa Fiorita ha un passato illustre che risale al primo ottocento, quando i nobili del Piemonte facevano a gara per accaparrarsi i migliori versanti e vinificavano legando il nome della casata al prodotto della vigna.
Villa Fiorita appartiene alla famiglia Rondolino che l’ha ristrutturata tra il 1985 e il 1990. La famiglia di origine quattrocentesca ha posseduto per generazioni vigne e terre in confini di chiara vocazione vinicola quali Barolo, Ghemme, Gattinara. Villa Fiorita è a qualche chilometro da Asti, sulle colline soleggiate che dominano la Valle del Tanaro. I suoi dodici ettari di vigneti (Barbera, Grignolino, Pinot Nero, Chardonnay) sono tutti particolarmente vocati.
E’ un’azienda che, accanto alle vecchie cantine ove alcuni vini si nobilitano in barriques di Troncais e Nevers, ha realizzato recentemente nuove cantine ove trovano posto le più moderne tecniche di vinificazione. Un'azienda che, partendo dalle uve di proprietà, può garantire l’alto grado di qualità dei suoi prodotti.
Tale qualità è stata più volte premiata con riconoscimenti di levatura internazionale.
Villa Fiorita oggi è anche un’apprezzata location per eventi, in grado di ospitare più di 200 invitati nel salone dei ricevimenti, oltre a diverse altre centinaia nel prato antistante.
Villa Fiorita has an illustrious past dating back to the early nineteenth century, when the nobility of the Piedmont region competed to acquire the best wine-‐growing areas, and often associated the family name with the wine produced.
Villa Fiorita belongs to the Rondolino family who restored and renovated the building between 1985 and 1990. The family, whose origins can be traced back to the fifteenth century, has owned land and vineyards for generations in famous wine-‐growing areas such as Barolo, Ghemme and Gattinara.
Villa Fiorita lies a few kilometres from Asti, on the sunny hillsides overlooking the Tanaro Valley. The villa has twelve hectares of vineyards (Barbera, Grignolino, Pinot Nero and Chardonnay) that are all particularly suited to wine production.
Alongside the old wine cellars, where a number of wines are aged in Nevers and Tronçais barriques, the Company has recently built new cellars which are home to the most modern wine-‐making techniques. By using its own grapes, the Company is able to guarantee high quality products.
This quality has been recognized and rewarded on several occasions with international awards.
Today, Villa Fiorita is also a popular venue for events, and is able to accommodate over 200 guests in the reception room, plus several hundred more in the surrounding grounds.
